Mansfield Fire Department Mourns Death Of Firefigther
Mansfield fire said that Michael McLaughlin, 39, died on Saturday after a long battle with cancer.
MANSFIELD, MA — The firefighting community is mourning the loss of Mansfield firefighter Michael McLaughlin, who lost a long battle with cancer on Saturday at 39 years old.
McLaughlin was a third-generation, eight-year veteran of the department.
He leaves behind a wife and stepdaughter.

"Our thoughts are with our brothers and sisters on team (Mansfield fire) today as Mike lost his battle with cancer this morning," Mansfield Police Chief Ron Sellon said on social media. "He was a wonderful caring man who I enjoyed working with greatly. He'll be missed."
