Mansfield Fire To Resume Permit Inspections

MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield fire has begun booking home fire alarm inspections after two months of hiatus due to the coronavirus health emergency. Appointments must be booked by phone in advance, with no in-person appointment booking allowed.

To book, call the Fire Prevention Division at 508-261-7492 or email fireprevention@mansfieldma.com. One of the Fire Prevention Captains will book the appointment and get the information they need.

When Mansfield fire arrives for the inspection, everyone in the house must have a mask or face covering and the windows must be open. The Fire Prevention Captain reserves the right to ask for people to leave the residence during inspection.

Mansfield fire is also moving toward a complete online booking system to be announced in the future.
