Mansfield Hires Human Resources Director

Mr. Mark F. Wilson of Norwood started as Mansfield's HR Director on Monday, September 30.

The Board of Selectmen welcomed new Human Resources Directed Mark F. Wilson, of Norwood at Wednesday night's Board of Selectmen meeting. 

"I liked the opportunity," to work in Mansfield, said Wilson after being introduced and welcomed to the public at the meeting. "It's the end of the third day on the job and I'm very impressed with the people I've met in Mansfield. 

Wilson, who will serve the town's 900 municipal and school employees, has "extensive experience in human resources management," said a memorandum from Town Manager Bill Ross and Superintendent of Schools Brenda Hodges to the Board of Selectmen and the School Committee. 

"Mr. Wilson has served in the past as a member of a school committee, and is knowledgeable in public sector resources and the collective bargaining process," said the memorandum. "We believe that Mr. Wilson will be an excellent addition to the senior staff off the Town of Mansfield and we look forward to working with him.
