Mansfield Man Pleads Guilty on Child Porn Charges

A Mansfield man and Level 2 Sex offender arrested last year on federal child pornography charges pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Boston on Tuesday, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Gerald E. Deneault, 46, who was living on North Main Street when he was arrested on October 3, 2012 for having two DVDs with child pornography on his computer, pleaded guilty to one count of child pornography and has been scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 23

Deneault's lawyer and federal prosecutors are recommending the mandatory minimum of five years in prison and then five years of supervised probation, under the plea agreement filed in court.
