Mansfield Police 'Fill The Wagons' Food Drive On Saturday
The event to benefit the West Side Benevolent Circle's "Nourish To Flourish" program will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Shaw's.
MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield police will be collecting grocery donations for the West Side Benevolent Circle's "Nourish to Flourish" program Saturday at the Shaw's.
The "Fill The Wagons" event is especially important this year with the increased demand due to the coronavirus crisis.
"The need this year is overwhelming," Mansfield police said. "The WBC is giving out between 400 and 500 meals a week right now to families right here in Mansfield. They need your help."

Police will be at the Shaw's from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Items needed include: oatmeal packets, granola bars, cereal bars, fruit snacks, single-serve cereal, large cereal boxes, fruit cups, craisin boxes, pasta and canned pasta sauce, Goldfish snack bags, cookie snack bags, chip snack bags, juice boxes and grocery gift cards.

Food can be purchased at Shaw's that day or dropped off at the "Fill The Wagons" event. Items can also be dropped off at the station at anytime in the donation box at 500 East Street.
