Mansfield Police K9 Ronan Headed Back To School

MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield police K9 Ronan is headed back to school after a brief stint on the job. For the past month, Mansfield Police Officer Mike Fitzgerald and Ronan have been working patrol in the town after finishing their initial training at the Boston Police K9 Academy, and this week they begin Explosive Ordnance Disposal training.

"K9 Ronan is proficient in finding missing people, tracking suspects, finding items with human scent, and will soon be certified in locating explosive material as well," Mansfield police posted on their Facebook page. "Good luck to Ronan and Mike!"
