Mansfield Schools Awarded Safer Schools Grant

MANSFIELD, MA —Mansfield Public Schools announced on Friday that they have been awarded $50,000 from the Safer Schools and Communities "Local Equipment and Technology" grant. The grant is offered by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security's Office of Grants and Research.

Mansfield Schools said this grant will be used to continue the work being done to improve the safety of its buildings. This is the second time Mansfield Schools have received this grant.

The first ground was used to improve the doors at the high school and middle school. This grant will be used in the elementary schools.
