Mansfield Under Flash Flood Warning
The storm may contain torrential rainfall capable of producing 1-2 inches of rain or greater in one hour or less.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Mansfield and Bristol County through 7:45 p.m. Friday night
The area is expected to see heavy showers.
A Flash Flood Warning is issued for a situation that could lead to rapid and potentially life-threatening flooding. The storm may contain torrential rainfall capable of producing 1-2 inches of rain or greater in one hour or less. This may result in localized flash flooding, especially in urban centers according to the NWS.

Should flooding occur, officials remind drivers to not drive through flooded roads, even if the water appears to be shallow. Drivers should find alternate routes. Cars can easily be stranded. Additionally, residents are advised to move to higher ground if you live or work in a flood prone area.
