Mansfield Water Disruption Scheduled For Wednesday

Notice of Water Service Interruption - May 6th

Mansfield Water Division will be shutting off the water main in Chauncy Street temporarily to complete installation of a water gate valve at the intersection of Chauncy St. & Highland Ave. Utility work is scheduled to take place Wednesday, May 6th between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Water will be off for approximately 4 hours.

Water customers located on Chauncy St., Perkins Ave., Morrow St., Noonan St. Prince St. Webster St. and Winthrop are directly impacted by this water shut off are reminded to please plan accordingly.

Water customers in the nearby street areas may or may not experience discolored water as a result of this activity. Should this occur, run the water until color clears. As a precaution to protect laundry, customers are urged to check clothing washers to make sure water color is clear before adding laundry.
