Mansfield Woman Facing Drug Charges In Rhode Island

MANSFIELD, MA — A Mansfield woman is facing drug charges in Rhode Island after that state's Gaming Enforcement Unit's arrest on Thursday. RI State Police said Tanya Beland, 35, was charged with possession of fentanyl and cocaine.

Police said Beland was also wanted on a Providence County Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court for a violation hearing on a charge of conspiracy to violate drug laws out of the Providence Police Department.

Beland was processed at the RI Lincoln Barracks and was held overnight Thursday pending a hearing.
