Mansfield Would Get $2 Million In State Transportation Bill
The state House and Senate agreed on a $16.5 billion transportation bill Wednesday.
MANSFIELD, MA — The Massachusetts House and Senate agreed on a $16.5 billion transportation funding bill early Wednesday morning, which would provide $2 million for projects in Mansfield.
The bill, which was passed almost unanimously following a session that lasted until after 4 a.m., now heads to Gov. Charlie Baker's desk for approval.
The bill would fund the following projects in Mansfield:

- Traffic realignment and attendant infrastructure of Chauncey St. and Copeland Dr.
- Installation of a westbound travel lane on Chauncy St. to improve public safety and reduce traffic congestion
