MassDOT Announces Paving, Bridge Work On I-495 In Mansfield

The work will begin Monday, April 12 and is expected to continue until June 10, 2023.

MANSFIELD, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced that it will begin overnight resurfacing and bridge repairs on Route I-495 Northbound from Mansfield to Franklin on Monday, April 12.

The resurfacing and bridge repairs will take place Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and is expected to continue until June 10, 2023.

The work will include micro-milling the roadway and overlaying a new asphalt surface. Crews will also be conducting bridge deck and joint repairs on five bridges included in the project.

Lane closures and traffic control measures will be required during construction. Drivers should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
