MassDOT Announces Temporary Closure Of I-495 Ramp In Mansfield
The ramp from I-95 northbound to I-495 northbound will be closed from 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 3 through 4 p.m. on Friday, June 4.
MANSFIELD, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that it will temporarily close the ramp from I-95 northbound to I-495 northbound in Mansfield starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 3 and ending at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, June 4.
The ramp closure is needed to facilitate drainage structure adjustment operations, said MassDOT.
All traffic intending to use the ramp from I-95 northbound to I-495 northbound will be detoured as follows:

- Continue on I-95 northbound
- Take ramp to Route 140 north (exit 13B)
- Take ramp to I-95 southbound
- Continue on I-95 southbound
- Take exit 12 to I-495 northbound
Construction signs, message boards, arrow boards, drums, and police details will be utilized throughout the closure. Drivers should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
