Meet Bentley At Mansfield's Fill The Wagons Toy Drive

The Mansfield Police Department's assistance dog Bentley will be helping Santa collect toys for the West Side Benevolent Circle on Saturday.

MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield residents who have yet to do so can meet a local celebrity and help out a good holiday cause at the same time on Saturday when Bentley the Assistance Dog makes an appearance at the Fill The Wagons Toy Drive at Mansfield Crossing. Bentley will be helping Santa stack vans with toys to benefit local children in need.

The donations will be made through the West Side Benevolent Circle.

Bentley the Assistance Dog — also known as Mr. B — celebrated his official NEADS World Class Service Dogs graduation on Nov. 3 and enjoys positive interactions with Mansfield Public School students every day. On Saturday, Bentley made the rounds around Mansfield with a group of student-athletes delivering more than 60 turkeys to local veterans. The gridiron club sponsors this event every year to thank veterans for their service to our country.
