Mooyah Burgers Coming To Mansfield
The Mansfield joint will be the sixth Mooyah location in Massachusetts.

MANSFIELD, MA — Burgers with 100 percent Angus beef, hand-cut fries, and eight different flavors of shakes, Mooyah will bring all of these right across the street from the Mansfield Crossing shopping plaza when it opens on Jan. 30.
The Texas-based burger joint will be the sixth in Massachusetts after brothers Marwan and Antoine Zeidan, along with their friend Farid Rifai, decided to open a Mooyah franchise. Rifai had long dreamed of opening a restaurant, Marwan said. He used to tell the president of his daughter's softball league about this dream. When Rafai told him, he started raving about the Texas burger joint.
Since then, the three have worked at this dream, buying a Mooyah franchise in 2016, but Marwan said they struggled to find a Massachusetts location at first. He's happy to open in a familiar community though. Marwan said he's familiar with Mansfield from when he worked at Meditech, an IT company on the Mansfield-Foxborough line.

Marwan said he loves the Mansfield community, and that the burger joint will be close to a large shopping center like Mansfield Crossing.
"It's a nice town," he said. "I like the people in Mansfield because they appreciate you if you do good things."

Marwan hopes to offer good things to the community. Besides the 100 percent certified Angus beef, the hand-cut fries and bread for the buns are made fresh daily, he said. There will even be vegetarian options.
The Zeidan Brothers and Rifai hope to make the Mansfield restaurant a success and have plans to hopefully open another burger joint at the Hanover Mall in 2020.
