New Wrentham K9 Puppy To Be Called 'Cruiser'

WRENTHAM, MA — Delaney Elementary School students have spoken and have picked a name for the Wrentham police community resource puppy. After much deliberation, and many suggestions, the students chose 'Cruiser' as the puppy's name.

Wrentham Police Chief announced the big reveal would take place Monday morning — then shared the winning pick around noon Monday morning. Check out videos — and a few super cute photos — of Cruiser here.

Chief McGrath said two weeks ago that Cruiser will soon take part in a couple of months of training before a tour of Wrentham to meet residents, visit schools, the senior center, nursing homes and offer comfort wherever to whomever needs it.
