
Eric F. Jancaterino, age 42, of Mansfield, formerly of Holbrook and Quincy, died unexpectedly at home Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013. Born in Quincy, Nov. 21, 1970, he was a son of George F. Jancaterino of Quincy and Carol A. (Lucier) Lane of Mansfield and the late A. Fred Lane.
Mr. Jancaterino grew up and was educated in Quincy, and was a 1989 graduate of North Quincy High School. He had worked as a Sand Hog for Local 88,Tunnels Workers Union. He loved spending time with his children, his niece and his nephew. As a proud uncle, he cherished the times spent attending his nephew Mikes sporting events.
He had made his home in Mansfield for the past 5 years and was a former resident of Holbrook and Quincy. In addition to his loving parents, he is leaves his devoted children, Ashley R. and Domenic E. both of Milton, his sister Kari A. Barresi and her husband Salvatore of Mansfield, his niece Erika Barresi, and his nephew Michael Barresi both of Mansfield. He was the former husband of Lisa of Milton and also leaves by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours were held Thursday, Oct. 31, from 4-7 p.m. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. A funeral service was held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial was private. To send Jancaterino family a message of condolence, please visit www.shermanjackson.com.Â
