Police Log: Stolen Cell Phone, Car Vs. Deer, Identity Theft

Monday, Dec. 16
At 2:59 p.m., police received a report of identity theft from a caller on Jacob Drive.ÂAt 6:06 p.m., a caller reported that a car hit a deer on Elm and Otis Streets. The deer ran off and police were unable to locate it.Â
At 6:32 p.m., a party reported being approached by a person in a brown Hyundai, who asked to borrow a cell phone and then took off with it.Â
