Positive Coronavirus Test Rate Slows Greatly In Mansfield
The Mansfield Board of Health said there have been two confirmed positive tests of residents in the town since June 1.
MANSFIELD, MA — The Mansfield Board of Health reported that the rate of confirmed positive cases of the coronavirus in the town have slowed considerably in recent weeks.
Of the 160 residents that have tested positive in the town since March 13, only two of those positive tests have occurred since June 1.
The Board of Health said there are 18 positive cases under isolation in the town as of Thursday. There were 28 positive cases in March, 89 in April, 40 in May and two in June. The peak day of cases was April 17 when 20 residents reported their symptoms began that day.

There have been 13 deaths in the town, with 128 patients having fully recovered. The average age of those who have died from the virus in town is 82 years old, while the average age of all positive cases is 51.
