Proposal Calls For Hotel, Restaurant At Old Soccer Bubble Site
The proposed site is the former home of the Players Choice Soccer Facility which has been closed for years.
MANSFIELD, MA — The planning board will take up a proposal for a hotel right on Route 140 right off Interstate 495.
A special permit public hearing is scheduled for June 30 at 7:30 p.m. for a hotel and restaurant slated for 10 and 30 Reservoir St. The site is the former home of the Players Choice Soccer Facility, which has been closed for years.
Crugnale Properties, which has a major development slated for the downtown area pending in front of the board, is also behind the new proposal.

The land that was once home to the soccer bubble has been owned by Gazzolo Realty Trust since 1993 and is a short walk away from the Xfinity Center.
No word yet on the name of the hotel.
