REMINDER: Xfinity Center Concert Season Starts Thursday

Post Malone headlines the first show of the season.

MANSFIELD, MA — The first of nearly 40 shows at the Xfinity Center this year will take place Thursday.

Post Malone will headline the season's opening concert Thursday with support from 21 Savage. As always, concertgoers and residents should expect plenty of traffic during the evening commute and later that night when the show gets out.

For those going and others who are just trying to avoid the backup, here's what you need to know.

Getting There And Parking
Concertgoers are asked to use exit 11 on Interstate 495 or Exit 7A on Interstate 95 to access Route 140 and the venue. If you're thinking about using Waze or Google Maps to hit the backroads that take you over the I-495 overpass on South Main Street, you'll be directed back to Route 140.

Once you get to the Xfinity Center, parking at the venue is free. For those looking for a quicker exit, there are two privately owned lots across the street and next to the venue which provide parking for a fee. Safe crossing is provided by police for those who choose to park outside the venue.
