Santa Claus Sending Out Personalized Letters In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, MA — Children all over the world write letters to Santa Claus each Christmas season. In Mansfield, sometimes Santa writes back.

The Mansfield Recreation Department has it in good with the big man and has arranged for Santa Claus to write personal letters back to the children of the town. The only thing is Santa does not have enough time leading up to Christmas Eve to go through his list once more after making it, and checking it twice, to look up all the addresses for all the children in town who might want a personalized letter.

So the Mansfield Recreation Department is asking parents or guardians of children who want to hear from Santa to contact Recreation personnel at 508-851-6458 and let them know where to address the message Santa writes while his elves are busy putting the final touches on all of this year's Christmas toys.
