Second Suspect In Mansfield Home Invasion Identified
Mansfield police said an arrest warrant has been issued for Barry Green in the Dec. 17 home invasion on Stearns Avenue.

MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield police have identified the second suspect in last month's home invasion on Stearns Avenue. Police said they have obtained a warrant out of Attleboro District Court for the arrest of Barry Green on charges of breaking and entering a home at nighttime with intent to commit a felony, breaking and entering a vehicle at nighttime with intent to commit a felony, larceny over $1,200, burglary and conspiracy.
Green is suspected of being one of two men who used keys found in an unlocked car in the driveway of the Stearns Avenue home to enter the home as the residents slept on Dec. 17. On Dec. 18, Mansfield police arrested Kevin Gearhart, 54, of Boston, as the first suspect in the home invasion. Gearhart was also wanted on several burglary charges in Manchester, N.H. in November.
Police credit working with Manchester authorities to circulate Gearhart's photo for helping make the arrest.

Green is described as a 50-year-old, African-American man. His image was caught on home security surveillance in the Stearns Avenue home the night of the invasion.
