Traffic Alert: The Warp Tour Comes to the Xfinity Center Wednesday

Due to the all-day nature of the festival, residents are advised to expect traffic near the Xfinity Center.

Mansfield, MA — Over 90 bands are expected in Mansfield today when the Warp Tour comes to the Xfinity Center.

Due to the all-day nature of the festival, residents are advised to expect a high amount of traffic during the day. Lots for the show opened at 8:30 a.m. and the gates open at 11 a.m.

"We are in a busy commuter area of the Commonwealth, so whether you're taking the train, driving, or riding your longboard to the venue, have patience and expect a high volume of other people trying to get places," the Mansfield Police Department wrote on Facebook.

Police don't expect many problems from the crowd but advise the crowd to hydrate as much as possible.

"We know you guys like your mosh pits and your nollie kickflips, but take a moment to replenish what you've lost through sweat," they said.

Last year, over 200 people received medial treatment at the show, according to the Mansfield Fire Department.
