Tuesday's Mansfield Superindent Chat Canceled, 2 Sessions Remain
While Tuesday night's Coffee and Chat with Superintendent Teresa Murphy was canceled, two sessions are scheduled this week.
MANSFIELD, MA — Two more chances to talk with Mansfield Superintendent of Schools Teresa Murphy and learn about the Student Opportunities Act are upcoming in the next week despite the cancellation of Tuesday night's scheduled session. The remaining sessions will be Thursday morning and next Monday night.
The "Coffee and Chat" sessions are designed to be informal discussions between the superintendent and parents looking for more information about Mansfield schools, including plans for the Student Opportunities Act. They are open to families of children and staff members so they can stay informed about the schools, ask questions and learn about the successes and challenges of the schools.
The next session will be Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Robinson Elementary School cafeteria, and Monday, March 16 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the QMS library. Light refreshments will be served. Those looking for more information about the chats can call 508-261-7500.

The attention of the town will turn too TD Garden in Boston on Tuesday night as the Mansfield High boys basketball team as it faces Lynn English for a spot in the Division 1 state championship game. Game time is 7:15 p.m. with all tickets $15. Tickets can be purchased here and a spectator bus is being planned to travel from Mansfield High into Boston.
