University Orthopedics Receives Warm Welcome From Mansfield & Surrounding Communities.

MANSFIELD, Mass. (April 26, 2021) — Surrounded by local business leaders and other dignitaries, University Orthopedics celebrated its new Mansfield location with a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Already one of the largest and most comprehensive orthopedic practices in the region, University Orthopedics began seeing patients at its state-of-the-art facility located at 10 Reservoir Street in February.
“We have been overwhelmed by the reception we’ve had from the Mansfield community as a whole, as well as the support from local leaders, including the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce,” said Julia Katarincic, M.D., University Orthopedics hand surgeon. “We’re thrilled to be part of this vibrant community and happy to provide our new neighbors with world-class care just a short distance from their homes.”
The new UOI facility - which is accepting appointments online at universityorthopedics.com and by phone at 401-457-1500 - offers a wide variety of services and treatments including:

  • Back and Neck
  • Hip and Knee

The new Mansfield facility is also home to another OrthoDirect location, providing next-day and same-day access to acute orthopedic care for the treatment of new, non-emergent musculoskeletal injuries including sprains, strains, and possible fractures. OrthoDirect locations are open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
