WATCH: Mansfield JV Football Wins On 6-Lateral Kickoff Return

MANSFIELD, MA — It's not often that stories are written about junior varsity sports so you know this one is going to be good.

With three seconds left in Mansfield's game against North Attleboro, it looked like the Hornets were going to walk away with a loss against the rival Red Rocketeers. Then Joe Plath recovered a North Attleboro kick around the Mansfield 30 yard line and lateraled to Michael DeBolt, who responded with a pass back to Shane Downey, who got the ball to Ian Reddish just before being tackled, as did Reddish when he found DeBolt at the 23. Plath got the ball again and found Downey near his own end zone before racing up the sideline for a Mansfield touchdown and a 21-16 win.
