When Is the Winter Parking Ban In Effect In Mansfield?
During snow emergencies, don't park on the streets. I'm sure your local plow driver will be grateful, plus no one wants to get towed.

MANSFIELD, MA — It's snowed once this November, but with winter coming, it's probable we'll soon see a lot more. It might be a good idea to start thinking about avoiding street parking.
You'll soon have to, as Mansfield's winter overnight parking ban starts Saturday. From Dec. 1 to April 30, parking in the downtown business district is forbidden between the hours of 12 a.m., and 6 a.m. The downtown business district includes Rumford Avenue to Hope Street and South Common to North Common.
During snow emergencies, don't park on the streets anywhere in town. I'm sure your local plow driver will be grateful, plus no one wants to get towed.

Vehicles violating the ban could get a parking ticket. If you violate the ban and it interferes with snow or ice removal, your car will get towed and you'll get a ticket, Mansfield Police said.
