Win Free Coffee For A Year At Dunkin's Iced Coffee Day
$1 of each iced coffee sold in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts on Aug. 26 will go to Hasbro Children's Hospital.

BRISTOL COUNTY, MA — Wednesday is Iced Coffee Day, Dunkin's annual fundraiser for Hasbro's Children Hospital. All day, $1 from each iced coffee sale in Rhode Island and Bristol County will go towards the cause.
Since it was launched in 2010, the annual event has raised more than $2 million for the hospital. While it is usually held in May, this year's Iced Coffee Day was pushed off due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
"All of us at Dunkin’ are proud to continue the tradition of Iced Coffee Day in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts," said Rob Batista, a local Dunkin’ business owner Rob Batista. "In what has been an exceptionally difficult year, the doctors, nurses, patients — everyone — involved with Hasbro Children’s have been nothing short of heroic. We’re looking forward to August 26 to further show our support, and we encourage all of our valued guests to join in!"

New this year, the company is holding a social media contest for free coffee for a year. To enter, post about the event on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #IceDD4Hasbro. One randomly selected winner will get free coffee for a year, while two runners-up will get Dunkin' prize packs.
"Although this year’s fundraiser may look a bit different than in the past, what remains unchanged is our community’s incredibly generous support of Hasbro Children’s Hospital, especially during such an unprecedented time," said Timothy J. Babineau, the president and CEO of Lifespan. "We could not be more grateful to Dunkin’ and their guests for their commitment to our region’s children, and honored to call them partners."

Because of the pandemic, the $1 donation will apply to any iced coffee bought through the drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, curbside pickup or by ordering ahead on the app.
