A Craig's List Scam and Domestic Problems
The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, July 12
- At 9:29 a.m., a driver was rear-ended on Humphrey Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 9:37 a.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Westminster Road. The caller said she had a dispute with a man she has known the past three weeks. The man threatened to throw her belongings some place where she will be unable to find them.
- At 2:39 p.m., a vehicle was egged on Auburndale Road.
- At 2:41 p.m.,a crane operator fell and injured his head by Redds Pond.
Saturday, July 13
- At 00:46 a.m., police received a report from a girl and her friends who were near the Coffin School and said they felt uncomfortable when an older man approached them and asked if they wanted candy.
- At 1:43 a.m., a Washington Street caller said a group of kids were outside his window and one of them was climbing a utility police.
- At 11:10 a.m., police received a report of joggers pushing a double stroller and weaving in and out of traffic.
- At 12:49 p.m., an elevator was reportedly stuck on Rowland Street.

- At 1:41 a.m., an intoxicated caller said he was giving them a heads-up that he would be contacting an attorney because he was stopped earlier in the evening and was given a hard time.
- At 2:03 a.m., a mother and a daughter got into an argument on Humphrey Street.
- At 7:44 p.m., a Walnut Street caller reported that the tires on his friend’s car tires were slashed in a driveway.
Monday, July 15
- At 8:57 a.m., a Washington Street caller reported a Craigs List scam:
“Caller states she was the victim of a scam from Craig's

List. She posted a desk for sale. She asked for $300.00.
She was sent a "company certified" check from Craig's List
for $1400.00. She was away for several days. Upon her
return, she had received several messages to cash the check
and return the rest of the money to them. She became
suspicious. She will be calling the Secretary of States
office, and other offices.”
- At 12:51 p.m., two bikes were reportedly found on a field at Brook Road. They had been there for a couple days.
- At 10:10 p.m., an Essex Street caller reported that the street plates make a lot of noise every time someome runs over them.
