A Rip Tide Fight and Pleasant Street Fall

Thursday, Nov. 7
8:22 a.m., a walk-in to the police station reported a car was broken into on Franklin Street and a brief case and wool coat were stolen from it. The property was found in the Old North Church parking lot.
8:55 a.m., a caller saw a white van hit a parked car on Atlantic Avenue and continue driving outbound. Broken glass was in the street from the hit and run. Swampscott police stopped a white van with damage to it and escorted the vehicle back to Marblehead where Marblehead police issued the driver a citation for leaving the scene of an accident.
Friday, Nov. 8
9:24 a.m., a Washington Street caller reported that she thinks someone is messing with her regarding issues she is having with the condo association. She reported that on this day someone tampered with her furnace by removing a wire.
10:49 a.m., a Village Street crossing guard reported that a motor vehicle went through the cross walk while he was trying to cross two kids. The vehicle reportedly almost hit the two children and the guard.
11:03 a.m., a Front street man came to the police station and reported that someone had stolen some of his lobster traps. It appears to be a civil issue. It turned out that the builders of the traps took them back because they apparently were not paid what they were owed for the traps.
4:01 p.m., a Village Street resident reported that she came out in the morning and discovered that her car had been egged. The paint was damaged.
6:23 p.m., a Robert Road caller reported a large group going along the street and smashing pumpkins.
Saturday, Nov. 9
9:41 a.m., a woman fell on Pleasant Street and hurt her face. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital.
9:02 p.m., A Village Street caller reported a large group of kids engaging in ring and runs, ringing doorbells and running away. Police spoke to the group of youth.
9:30 Bolo for a stolen vehicle, a gray 2002 VW Jetta, from Margin Street.
11:04 p.m., police received a report of a fight at the Rip Tide Lounge. The people involved in the fight left the lounge.
