Abbot Public Library To Hold Conversation On Systemic Racism
As part of the library's conversations on race, there will be a discussion on systemic racism.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – The Abbot Public Library and the Marblehead Racial Justice Team will co-sponsor another discussion in their Conversations on Race series on Monday, Aug. 21 – this time about systemic racism.
According to a post on the library website, the conversation will start at 7 p.m. in the library's main level reading room. The discussion will tackle racism across institutions and societies, and locally. The library's post notes that it will be a respectful dialogue, meant to have a constructive discussion about creating a more just community.
The group will watch a video that shows examples of systemic racism, and then discuss where systemic shows up in the community.
