Keen observers at the intersection of Pleasant and Sewall Streets may have noticed what appears to be a camera watching them from a perch atop a broken phone pole.
A quick inquiry to the town Administrator reveals that it is not a camera at all, but rather a control for the streetlight at that corner.
Typically the lights are controlled by sensors in the pavement indicating a car is waiting to turn onto Pleasant street, but with all the road work in the area digging up the street so often an above the ground solution was implemented.
