Car in a Ditch and an OUI

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Aug. 11

  • At 3:54 a.m., police responded to a report of a car in a ditch at Devereux Beach. Police charged Christopher Connors, 45, (no address) Marblehead, with OUI, second offense, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 10:08 a.m., a walk-in reported losing a red and black Marblehead Magicians bag.
  • At 1:36 p.m., a walk-in reported a bike has been at a Front Street location for three weeks. It's a child's bike and located on the path towards the dock.
  • At 2:18 p.m., police took into custody Paul Casale, 18 Rainbow Road, Marblehead, on a non-Marblehead warrant.
  • At 3:49 p.m., a hit and run was reported on Washington Street.
Monday, Aug. 12
  • At 3:05 a.m., an Ocean Avenue mom reported that she could not control her son.
  • At 7:03 a.m., a caller reported hearing a loud bang and seeing sparks on the tracks between Pleasant and Maverick Streets. Electric Light was notified of the report and agreed to handle it.
  • At 8:02 a.m., a walk-in reported a hit-and-run accident in the vicinity of Lighthouse Lane.
  • At 9:42 a.m., police received a report of a broken window at a Sagamore Road home.
  • At 12:15 p.m., a Pickwick Road caller reported that golf clubs were stolen from his garage.
  • At 1:53 p.m., a caller reported seeing a man with a gun on his belt and wearing a badge in the sanctuary bird watching.
  • At 2:52 p.m., a Redstone Lane caller reported that a bronze rudder was stolen from his boat.
