Christian Olivier Lalonde, 23, Of Marblehead: Obituary

In his short 23 years, he visited more countries than he had birthdays.

Christian-Olivier was born February 11, 1995 in Santa Monica, California to Louis-Philippe and Sheri Lalonde. He passed away March 7, 2018 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Christian was incredibly strong yet had the most gentle spirit. He had the mind of an engineer, building his own computer at the age of 10. He had the vocabulary and memory of a scientist and was fondly referred to as “Mr. Wikipedia.” He lived large, had an incredible fashion sense and was at his best when traveling. He was a global citizen, immersing himself in other cultures and advocating for equality. Not only did he want to see the world, he wanted to share it with others. In his short 23 years, he visited more countries than he had birthdays. Through his generosity and love, others were fortunate enough to see the world through his eyes. He loved a good time, great food (often starting dinner with dessert), and rap music. Drake was his favorite artist, putting his whole heart and soul into the lyrics. Along with being a hipster and a trickster with an amazing sense of humor, he had unrivaled dance moves. Many people say he was the most generous and compassionate friend they knew. He had many friends around the world but kept his immediate circle small and close to his heart. Whether you were part of his immediate tribe or met him briefly along the way, the
one thing for sure is, you definitely would NOT forget him. In his last act of kindness and generosity, Christian-Olivier posthumously saved several lives by donating his organs.

Christian-Olivier was attending Fisher College in Boston. A beautiful Memorial service was held on March 20, 2018, attended by students and faculty, ending with the presentation of his college degree. He leaves behind his mother, Sheri, his father Louis-Philippe (wife Jane), their children Hannah and Charles, and grandmothers Patricia Bagley and Yvonne Lalonde. He also leaves behind his Grandfather Jacques Lalonde (wife Deborah).
