Crowded Field In Marblehead Board Of Selectmen Race
Voters will choose up to five candidates out of 15 running for the Board of Selectmen and vote on two Proposition 2 1/2 overrides.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents will have to choose between 15 Board of Selectmen candidates for five positions and vote on two ballot initiatives when they head to the polls on Tuesday.
The Board of Selectmen race includes 14 candidates on the ballot, one who is running a sticker campaign and includes three incumbents for the five seats.
Jackie Belf-Becker, Moses Grader and James Nye are running for re-election.

Benjamin Berman, Dustin Floyd, Mark Harris, John Odlin Liming, Yael Magen, Rose Ann Wheeler McCarthy, Caroline Joan Murphy, Erin Noonan, Anthony Sasso, Alexa Singer and James Sisson are also on the ballot.
Anne Stevenson is running a sticker campaign for one of the one-year terms.

There is also a contested race for School Committee where Meaghan Taylor and Jennifer Schaeffner are running for one open seat.
Voters can also weigh in on a pair of Proposition 2 1/2 overrides to provide funding for a new pump truck for the fire department and to renovate the Abbot Library.
