An earthquake hit about 30 miles off the Massachusetts coast Tuesday night, registering a magnitude-2.2.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — An earthquake hit off the Massachusetts coast Tuesday night, according to state officials.
The quake was recorded at 10:29 p.m. about 30 miles east of the North Shore region. It registered a 2.2-magnitude. No damage was reported.
The star in the map above shows the quake's epicenter, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
