Essex Heritage Welcomes New President, Commissioners, Trustees
The North Shore nonprofit welcomed the new ambassadors and leaders at the annual meeting held remotely this year due to the coronavirus.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Essex National Heritage Commission welcomed David Read as its new president, as well as new commissioners and trustees, at its annual meeting earlier this month.
The North Shore nonprofit's meeting was held remotely for the first time this year due to the coronavirus health crisis.
"Usually our annual meetings take place at special sites around the country and give attendees a chance to explore new and unique places," Essex Heritage CEO Annie Harris said. "In this virstual format, we still wanted our partners, colleagues and community leaders to be able to connect with one another as we highlight and recognize so much that has happened in the heritage area."
