Juvenile Assaults Officer
The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 8
- At 2:07 p.m., a downed power line was reported on Seaview Lane. In addition, a large tree limb came down on a truck.
- At 3:26 p.m., a hit and run was reported on School Street. A gray Honda Civic reportedly hit a fence and left the scene.
- At 6:54 p.m., police received a report of a wallet being stolen from an unlocked car on Washington Street.Â
- At 12:31 p.m., police received a report of a package being stolen from steps on Lafayette Street.
- At 12:48 p.m., Marblehead police received a report from Swampscott police that an armed robbery took place in Swampscott at Four Seasons Motor Group on Humphrey Street. The man fled in the direction of Cedar Hill Terrace.
- At 4:01 p.m., a Pleasant Street doctor reported that a patient had thrown a piece of equipment against the wall and damaged it.
- At 5:01 p.m., police received a report of a bike being stolen from a garage on Locust Street.
- At 8:37 p.m., police received a report from Lincoln Avenue about a chair being stolen from a boat.
- At 0:23 a.m., a caller reported that a person was hit in the head, maliciously, on Pleasant Street. Another caller reported a group was chasing the man who did the hitting. The injured man was transported to the hospital.
- At 1:52 a.m., a Countryside Lane caller reported that his home had been egged. He said a brown/gold Explorer had driven past his home as it was egged.
- At 5:42 a.m., police received a report from an Elm Street person who said someone tried to throw a printer threw his window overnight.
- At 4:08 p.m., a person walked into the police station and reported that a skateboarder had hit her car and a beer can had fallen from the skateboarder's possession.
- At 9:55 p.m., a juvenile was charged with assault and battery on a police officer. The police officer was talking to the 15-year-old and reported that he would be taking the juvenile's bike for a light violation. The juvenile then was taken into custody for assaulting the officer. The 15-year-old was later released to his mother's custody.
