The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Sept. 1

  • 9:54 a.m., a caller reported a man was sleeping on a bench at Crocker Park. The caller said her husband is a runner and has seen the man sleeping in the park on several occasions.
  • 1:11 p.m., a Knollwood Road person reported her son's bike was taken.
  • 9:41 p.m., a Coolidge Road person reported hearing what sounded like fireworks.
  • 11:54 p.m., a caller reported a loud group in front of Maddies. The group was moved along and have stopped laughing.
Monday, Sept. 2
  • 1:41 a.m., a caller reported a loud party on Front Street. Police checked the area and found no people.
  • 2:55 a.m., a walk-in reported that he was jumped on Sewall Street. The man said he was pushed off his moped near the ambulance company. The walk-in said the person who did it was a black male in his early 20s. The suspect was reportedly wearing a knapsack. Police combed the area but did not see the suspect.
  • 1:02 p.m., A Lincoln Avenue caller reported a black truck was parked in the wrong direction on the hill, and she feared it might cause an accident. The truck was towed to the owner's driveway.
  • 3:25 p.m, Beverly police called to request a death notification for the next of kin at a Robert Road address.
  • 8:09 p.m., a Jersey Street caller claimed his neighbors are murderers. The caller did not want a police response but wanted police to be aware.
  • 9:07 p.m., an Ocean Avenue caller reported a man having difficulty crossing the street. He was having trouble on the wall and might be drunk or having a medical issue, the caller said. Police checked the area but did not see the man.
