Maddies' Anglers to Take Wounded Vets Fishing

Selectmen announced last week that Maddies’ Anglers Club will team with Raytheon to welcome wounded vets to town Aug. 2 and 3 for fishing on individual boats and a tented lunch as well as a comedy show.

The Marblehead School Committee will meet today in their daylong, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., retreat in the library at Marblehead Veterans Middle School at 217 Pleasant St. The committee members agenda includes Massachusetts Association of School Committees training and meeting the new high school principal, Layne Millington.
