Man Arrested in Ohio for the Theft of Marblehead Pottery

A man was caught steal pottery, made in Marblehead, at Ohio State University recently.

An Ohio man was recently arrested for stealing several pieces of pottery, valued up to $25,000, that were made in Marblehead in the early 20th century, according to the Columbus Dispatch. 

Ohio man Christopher Mark Skeen was sentenced to 8 months for stealing the pottery from Baggs Memorial Library at Ohio State University. 

Arthur E. Baggs was a ceramics professor at Ohio State University in the early to mid-1900s and he owned Marblehead Pottery, which made ceramics in Marblehead from 1928 to 1947.
