MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Atlantic Veterinary Hospital in Marblehead is closed through Thursday after a staff member at the office tested positive for the coronavirus.
Doctors at the office said the staff member was asymptomatic, and had not been at the office for four days as of Tuesday, but that those who had direct contact with the staffer with their pets will be contacted.
"In spite of our best efforts and adherence to CDC guidelines one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19," the owners said in a statement. "It has been recommended that we have our entire staff tested for COVID-19 and close our hospital pending those results."
