Marblehead Boys' Lacrosse Advances in MIAA Tournament

Marblehead High School's boys’ lacrosse team defeated Winchester 12-6 in the quarter-final round of the MIAA state tournament and will take on Melrose on Wednesday.

The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Melrose High School.

Marblehead, ranked 5th in the North Division 2 tournament, finished the regular season at 11-7. Winchester, which is the fourth seed, went 10-7.

The winner will take on the winner of Wakefield/Beverly in the finals.
