Marblehead Causeway Closed Tuesday Due To Hurricane Teddy Surf
Marblehead police said the roadway to Marblehead Neck was closed because of a large amount of debris washed up on the road and splash over.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — A hurricane more than 300 miles off the coast of Marblehead caused enough tidal surge to close the causeway leading to Marblehead Neck Tuesday afternoon.
Marblehead announced the closure late in the afternoon due to "the large amount of debris both in the roadway and that is splashing up."
