Marblehead Cyclist To Ride In Pan Mass Challenge For 23rd Year
This Marblehead cyclist has been participating in the Pan Mass Challenge since 1995.
MARBLEHEAD, MA – The 38th Pan Mass Challenge – the bike-a-thon that crosses Massachusetts and raises money for cancer research and treatment at Dana Farber – will have a dedicated Marblehead rider once again this year.
Mark Meyer has been riding in the Pan Mass Challenge since 1995, and has raised $215,000 for Dana Farber. He sends out 175 letters yearly to reach his goals.
According to a PMC representative, Meyer's whole family gets involved. His wife, Karen Meyer, has been volunteering for 20 years, and his two daughters have participated since they were young.

This year, Meyer is riding for Team Erica's Entourage in honor of a young girl who developed a rare form of cancer and passed away five years ago.
