*** On Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24, the Marblehead Dems will be holding a community-wide food drive and fundraiser to benefit the Marblehead Food Pantry and My Brothers Table in Lynn. Donations can be dropped off in the Marblehead Community Center parking lot from 10 am to 2 pm. In lieu of dropping off donations, checks made out to Marblehead Food Pantry and/or My Brother's Table can also be sent to MDTC, P.O. Box 232, Marblehead, MA 01945.
The Dems have worked closely with the Marblehead Board of Health to ensure full compliance with all Covid-19 guidelines.
This event is nonpartisan. It's a way for us Marbleheaders to come together as a community to help people and families facing “food insecurity”—hunger. The needs are particularly strong in Lynn, where a lot of people work in the service industry, such as cleaning buildings, now vacant, and restaurants, now empty.
Certainly, hunger is a real issue everywhere. Here on the North Shore it is being addressed by non-profits like Marblehead Food Pantry as well as My Brother's Table in Lynn. But they need our help.
Let's do this, fellow Headers! Please click here for how you can help.
