The Magicians are coming off a solid win against Masconomet, 19-7, on their home turf in the cold Friday at Piper Field.
On Saturday, Nov. 16,  Marbelehad footballers will travel to Tewksbury for the NEC finals showdown at 1:30 p.m.
Tewksbury, the No. 1 seed in the NEC tourney with a 20.71 rating, advanced to the finals by edging Gloucester Saturday 28-25.
Marblehead, the second seed in the NEC with a 17.57 rating, made a statement in the fourth quarter of Friday's game against Masconomet.
The defense made a pivotal stop of the Masco offense on 4th down and inches; and the Marblehead offense made a statement touchdown on 4th down.
The gut checks and responses reflect poise and put them in a good position as they advance in the playoffs.
