Marblehead Girls' Lacrosse Advances to MIAA Finals

Marblehead High School's girls’ lacrosse team defeated Bishop-Fenwick 12-5 Wednesday in the semi-final round of the MIAA state tournament and is moving on to the finals.

The finals game will be played at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 7 at Newburyport High School.

Marblehead, ranked fifth in the North Division 2 tournament, finished the regular season at 12-7.

Marblehead will take on second-seeded Newburyport in the finals.
