Marblehead To Halifax Ocean Race Winners Declared

Sailing Scuttlebutt reported that this year's race also set a new record.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – Sailing Scuttlebutt reported yesterday that top honors in the annual Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race went to the crew of Airborne IV of the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.

According to Sailing Scuttlebutt, the Airborne IV completed the race in 2 days, 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 45 seconds. The crew crossed the finish line late Tuesday.

The Shelter Island Transatlantic Partners' Mills 68 Prospector took overall honors in the 13-boat IRC Division, and set a new elapsed time record of 28:28:50, Sailing Scuttlebutt reports.
